I have always wanted to be a writer.  From writing poetry in elementary school to stories all through high school and college, I wanted to be published.

I took a break while my kids were small and we were poor and focused on my “day job”, but as age 50 approached, I started revisiting some of those goals I had wanted to accomplish in my life.

I can’t remember how the idea for Unraveling a Gentleman happened.  I remember thinking about the time period — 1805.  I started my research and the two characters, Fiona and Robert, came to me.     Their story demanded telling.

From that moment, I was hooked.  Writing provides me an outlet that I forgot that I needed.   It has become necessary for me.  My friends can tell when I’ve not got my writing done! LOL.

I hope you come back and visit.  I want to add some “free reads” such as sample chapters and odd stories as I perfect my skills.  And as always, I’d love to hear from you.
